For Emeli, music is equal parts body and mind. When she plays solo improvisation, the movement and the body are part of the expression and the music. The visual dimension plays as big a role as the musical one. Emeli lets chance partly control the improvisation and likes to explore the borderland between sounds, rhythms and timbre.
